Ferrara Candy Company has 10,000 pounds of donated candy including brand favorites like SweeTARTS®, Trolli®, Brach’s®, Black Forest®, Butterfinger®, Laffy Taffy®, CRUNCH®, Lemonhead® and more to sweeten your visit! Ferrara is also giving away 600 tickets to local families through the park districts in Forest Park, Bellwood, Maywood, Bolingbrook, Itasca, Franklin Park, Hillside and Northlake. More pumpkin fun can be had watching a professional pumpkin carver craft a masterpiece. All day you can see them transform 1000+ pound pumpkins. For the pumpkin haters, there are hourly pumpkin smashings. Watch as those orange gourds are crushed to smithereens.
Don’t just wear your costume on Halloween. Show it off at the zoo! Don’t miss out on the costume contest and costume parade. Plus if you get tired after that costume parade you can enjoy the haunted hayride and the creepy cowboy carousel. Brookfield Zoo definitely goes all out for Halloween.
