This post is sponsored by Everywhere Agency on behalf of Macy’s; however, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
As you know, we love to cook. Part of the perks of being a food blogger is getting to meet great chefs. In and out of their restaurants, chefs have a wide range of skills. You’re in luck because you have the chance to meet one of these chefs! Nancy Silverton will be at the Macy’s on State Street in Chicago on Friday, December 9th 2016! At noon her demo will commence with tips for your holiday meals.
This event is free. However, there is one catch, you do need to RSVP for your spot at Macy’s on State Street. You can call 1-800-329-8667. This is just one of the events hosted by Macy’s Culinary Council. Not really a hardship when you get some of Nancy’s own recipes. All made in front of you these are award-winners that you will taste!
Since she started as a pastry chef, Nancy Silverton is just who you want to guide you through the holiday. She crafts decadent desserts. Her cookbooks include Desserts and new The Mozza Cookbook. If you spend more than $35 in the Home Department, then you will get a copy of her new cookbook. She will even sign your cookbook after the demonstration!
If you want that extra help this season, then be sure to RSVP to see Chef Nancy Silverton. To be honest, we are slightly biased towards pastry chefs. The truth is that most chefs don’t bother with baking. They do excellent in all other aspects of cookery, but they might be wary around cakes, tarts or pies.
So, don’t miss out on this event. You can taste the food of a James Beard Foundation Award Winner. Having met other chefs holding that honor, I can tell that they are worth the extra time. You won’t want to miss out. We have already been RSVP’d to attend. Join us for an afternoon of amazing food. All within one floor of all the newest kitchen tools.
However, if you still need to know more information, you can click this link. There is plenty of time to RSVP for next Friday at Macy’s on State Street. We certainly hope to see you there!
