There are certain aspects of living near a big city that we love. There are always great outings to be had in Chicago. So, I am pleased to tell you that Macy’s is celebrating Believe Day in their State Street store in downtown Chicago. The festivities will begin on December 9th at 12 PM!
Expect a great break from all of your holiday shopping. This event is free and taking place throughout the store, with The Caroling Party singing all around. This will be kid friendly with the encouragement to write your letters to Santa and mail them! Duh, where else do you think I mail my letters to Santa every year? Macy’s big red Believe Mailbox!
Every letter to Santa mailed in the store will become a $1 donation to the Make-A-Wish foundation! You can also send in your letter online here. So, let your family help us donate a million dollars this year by dropping Santa a letter! Every year I ask what kind of cookies he likes and he always gives me a different answer! Believe Day will also have a bunch of hot chocolate to warm up your writing fingers. Along with a special performance by Chicago Broadway’s A CHARLIE BROWN CHRISTMAS and The Goodman Theatre’s A Christmas Carol.
All of these activities and more await your family at the Macy’s on State Street. There will be festive cheer to last you through the holidays. Expect yourself to spread some cheer all by dropping Santa your letter. This year Macy’s celebrates donating $100 million to Make-A-Wish since 2003. Let Macy’s gift you some of their holiday spirit! They have plenty to share this year! Find more cheer by following the #MacysBelieve.
We hope to see you there! You can find more information about this event by visiting this link. Lastly, we hope that your holiday season is merry and bright!
